Resort Transfers

Your round-trip resort transfers are included in your room rates as long as you provide us with your flight details by April 3, 2023.

Flights

If you would like to book your room and air together, we would be happy to do so. Simply email ds@enexromancetravel.com to discuss your flight needs.

If booking flights on your own please be sure to fly into Cancun International Airport, airport code CUN. 

And please provide us with your flight information no later than April 3, 2023 so that we can arrange your included resort transfers.

SUBMIT FLIGHT INFORMATION

The year was 2013. It was a simpler time. Beyonce performed at the Superbowl and “Vine” was still a thing.. Emanuel, a Maryland native, was a senior at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania while Rusinel, a New Jersey native, was a sophomore at American University in Washington, DC. 

Our love story began one Saturday night in March. Emanuel was back in the DMV visiting his best friend Nick. A mixture of fate and chemistry led us to exchanging numbers that night and we have been a part of each other’s lives ever since. 

We first started dating long distance while Emanuel finished his last year of undergrad. During the next few months we fell in love over the phone, exchanging texts and calls in between classes and college life. Emanuel graduated and returned to the area where our love truly began to grow. We ultimately met each other’s families, Rusinel learning that Ethiopians kiss on the cheek three times and Emanuel joining Dominican Christmas in Elizabeth every year. 

Seven years later, after the ups and downs of living through our twenties, a pandemic, and a chunky cat named Bunty, Emanuel got down on one knee and asked Rusinel to marry him on February 13, 2021.  We celebrated that night with food from our favorite Cuban spot in Silver Spring, MD and champagne.   

We are so excited to continue to grow with each other and continue this love story for many years to come. 

We’re spending an extended weekend in Playa Mujeres at Dreams Playa Mujeres.
