A world where our similarities and differences have equal respect and appreciation, and people connect with nature and each other with less prejudice and more understanding.
After we led a group to Southern Africa, one of our travelers confided that he hadn’t realized to what extent his vision of the entire continent of Africa had been shaped by movies, television and the media.
He was stunned by how beautiful and green things were, by the variety of landscapes, the sophistication of cities, the warmth and sense of humor of the people we encountered.
Now he travels “eyes wide open” with fewer assumptions as to what to expect.
Some of our travelers’ perspective changes are less dramatic, but we count even the smallest change as progress towards our vision.
