HOW DO YOU READ THE ROOM RATE CHART?
If there are two people staying in a room the cost per person is stated on the line that says double. To get the rate of the entire room for 2 people multiply the double rate by 2. You will find more information on reading the price chart at this link.

WHAT DOES THE ROOM RATE INCLUDE?
The room rate includes all of your taxes and fees as well as your shared roundtrip airport-resort-airport transfers. The room rate DOES NOT INCLUDE airfare or optional travel protection. However, the purchase of a travel protection plan is HIGHLY recommended

WHAT IS THE ROOM DEPOSIT AMOUNT?
A minimum deposit of $100 per person is due no later than August 15th to reserve a room. After this date the deposit amount increases to $200 per person.

IS A PAYMENT PLAN POSSIBLE?
Absolutely. If you don’t opt for an automatic payment plan then a deposit is required with 2 additional payments equaling 50% of your room balance on September 15th and November 15th 2022. HOW MANY NIGHTS CAN I STAY?
You must stay at least 3 nights. You may stay more than 3 nights but any nights beyond February 16 must be booked separately. If you’d like to extend your stay beyond February 16, please email Deirdre Swinson at ds@enexromancetravel.com

CAN I BOOK A SINGLE OCCUPANCY ROOM?
The resort allows a very limited number of rooms to be booked as single occupancy and as indicated on the pricing chart the per person cost for single rooms is higher. Once the limit of single occupancy rooms is reached additional rooms with single occupants will be charged twice the double rate. To avoid the single occupancy premium, we suggest that you bring a guest.

CAN I CHANGE THE NAME OF THE GUEST IN MY ROOM?
Yes. We’re happy to help implement changes that may be required before you travel. The resort will not allow name changes with 14 days or less of your scheduled arrival date.

CAN I REQUEST A ROOM WITH 2 DOUBLE BEDS?
Yes. We always ask our guests about their bedding preferences and we convey these requests to the resort. While resorts always do their best to accommodate all special requests such as number of beds, adjoining rooms, rollaway beds, king vs. double beds, quiet rooms etc., these requests cannot be guaranteed.

CAN I BOOK MY ROOM ON MY OWN?
In order to be included in the wedding celebration events the couple requires that you book your room inside the room block that they have obtained for wedding guests. Please keep in mind that the room block prices include round trip airport transfers, all taxes and fees.

AM I REQUIRED TO BOOK MY FLIGHT WITH ENLIGHTEN EXCURSIONS?
No. All guests must book their room in the couple’s room block managed by Enlighten Excursions. However, you may book any other travel services, including air as you see fit. If you are using airline awards or credits, we are unable to assist with flights. If you would like flight assistance, please have your payment method ready at the time of your request and we will help you obtain the best flight for your requirements at the time of your contact.

CAN YOU HELP ME WITH ROUND-TRIP RESORT TRANSPORTATION?
Your room price includes round-trip non-stop shared resort transfers. If you prefer private transfers please ask for a quote.

WHAT IF I WANT TO BOOK EXCURSIONS?
You can check out a sample of the excursions we offer at this link. However, if there are other activities that you are interested in please give us a call and let us know what you’d like to do, what date, and how many guests are participating and we’d be happy to make the arrangements if possible.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ROOMMATE CANCELS?
If you’re in a double room and your roommate cancels you can find a new roommate or drop that person from your room. When your roommate cancels from your room with or without insurance you will become responsible to pay the single occupancy room rate unless you find a new roommate. When the number of guests in a room changes the price for the remaining room occupants will change. Room occupancy changes may only be made up to 65 days prior to travel.

DO I NEED TO PAY ANYTHING AT RESORT CHECK-IN?
As is common at hotels and resorts throughout the world, a minimum of one person per room must have and present a valid credit card upon check-in for incidentals. The hotel will place a hold on your card in case you charge anything to your room or in case of damage to the room. Incidental holds vary from resort to resort and can range from $100-$1000 per room per stay. If you use a debit card rather than a credit card for incidentals, the resort may actually have to take the money out of your bank account and then refund it upon check out.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Your stay is non-refundable so Travel Insurance is strongly recommended to protect you from the unexpected.

DO I NEED AN ADAPTER FOR MY ELECTRONICS?
You do not need an adapter for your electronics; the outlets in Punta Cana will accept U.S. plugs. If you have an appliance with 3 prongs however you may want to bring a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter.
