If you’re a first-time cruiser you may be surprised to find that your dining time is something to consider very carefully and that not all the food aboard the Carnival Breeze is included with your cruise fare. The good news is that there are several dining options to choose from on board, even if you don’t want to spend any extra moula.

Choosing Your Dinner Time Strategy
On the Carnival Breeze, dining is an event to look forward to, with two main approaches to consider: Assigned Seating and Open Seating (‘Your Time’ Dining).
- Assigned Seating: Perfect for those who prefer a set schedule or are cruising with a large party, this option ensures you and your group have a reserved spot at the same time and table every night in the main dining room. For groups of 8 or more assigned seating is the only way to assure sitting together at one table or at least several tables close together. Choose between early dining (6:00 pm) or late dining (8:15 pm). It’s essential to book this as soon as you reserve your cruise, as spots fill up fast. However, flexibility is limited; once you choose Assigned Seating, switching to Open Seating onboard is not an option. You can however, opt out of the main dining room one or two nights for specialty dining.
- Open Seating (‘Your Time’ Dining): For guests who value flexibility, ‘Your Time’ Dining offers a more relaxed approach. Dine anytime between 5:15 pm and 9:00 pm, with seating based on availability. Advance table reservations are not accepted, and all guests must be present before the party is seated. Still, this option is ideal for those who prefer to let their daily activities dictate their dining times. While the wait time is normally is less than 30 minutes, it’s worth noting that larger groups (8 or more) might face much much longer wait times.
